WHAT IS LUMEN BOOSTER?
Increases Burn Time Through Efficiency
Underwater, lights with this technology actually “power up.” Our UK proprietary Lumen Booster technology provides the shortest thermal of any dive light by dissipating heat away from the LED, through the heatsink and into the water. This allows our LED lights to run an amazing 5° C above water temperature compared to the 50-100° rise that most of our competitor’s lights have.
Unlike incandescent lamps, LED lights become less efficient the hotter they get. This decrease in LED temperature makes UK Lights 10 to 20% more efficient than other dive lights on the market.
